OK I do have multiple PS3's. And when I try to get them online (wirelessly). I get a system error popping up that says that I need to upgrade the firmware. Now since just looking at the menu system alone in my head I'm only thinking about the PSP, should I upgrade the firmware or not? I seriously don't want to upgrade it to only see a iso loader coome out in a week.
What all your thoughts about it?

Serious you couldn't get your wireless internet to work on your PS3? I remembered getting that error but after that i closed it out and was able to browse the internet fine. I guess the upgrade only applies to Wireless connection that uses WPA encryption. My router is setup using WEP instead because WPA gave me too many problems in the past such as intermittent connectivity issues. I'm sticking with WEP because it's more compatible with all my devices in the house such as the PSP, PS3, laptops, and desktops. I haven't updated the firmware on my PS3 because it's not necessary.
NO don't update your firmware because you might regret it.

Sad part is that when I bought mine, I had to upgrade the firmware just to play the game I got with it, which was Ridge Racer. Same as the PSP.

For me the ps3 is a lot different than the psp. Yeah there might be an exploit, but who is really going to put isos of ps3 games on your hd? You'd have like what, one game... I wont upgrade my psp, but ps3 I dont care about.

I agree. With Resistance being 17 gig, it won't take long to fill up the HDD. I've used up 11 gig just in demos off the playstation site. I've hacked my psp, my PS2, I think I'll leave my PS3 the way it is.
