so i dled the sonic rivals iso file, but when i use dh and emulate 2.71 and try to play sonic rivals it said u must upgrade inorder to play. i was wondering is there some other way to play it or a program that would?

maybe not, i'm thinking all the new games that come out will only be playable on up to date psp firmwares.

Thats weird, Im using Devhook w/2.71 and am able to play sonic rivals no problem. although Im using version .44 if that helps.

Try using .46 and see what happens, because you can emulate 2.81 games with 2.71 DevHook.

Try that setting that says "2.xx->2.00". I don't remember exactly where you select that, I think it's in "Firmware version"

it works fine with devhook 0.46 emulating 2.71
