lol ta-082 isnt a wonderful PSP -___- just becus theres HENC it doesnt make it a wonderful psp. once you make a mistake your screwed fOREVER

and buddy you hav to pay for LOCATIONFREEPLAYER.. i think... LocationFreePlayer is not homebrew...
RealG187
LF Player is made by sony, so why would they lock it out?? I think you actually need neweer firmware, I had 2.6 and it was there, I never seen it in 1.5 but maybe I wasnt looking?
jdm_ist
I think they added it in 2.00.

having henc makes my ta-082 wonderful..but itz irritating to start up henc when the psp freeze...i thought of the location player thingy, but i dont really need it..mayb i'll wait 4 homebew "etv" by ditlew..1 more thing,is there a website that says which homwbrew bricks ta-082?? i did use pspsafe scanner thingy but many are accessing the flash...haiz...thanks guyz...lol...lol...lol

I agree HenC is annoying, it crashes mo' than half the time!! Heres are some tricks I discovered:

B4 running HENc open a hombrew, it will say its corrupted, but just say ok and then run it, sometimes this works for me after I run a homebrew first, i dunno maybe it connects something in the flash mem, or just gives me a false sense of confidence!

ALso here's a shortcut!! Instead in running the folder, just goto the photo in XMB and presss strart to run the slideshow, since HENC is a TIFF, running a slideshows enables it!!!

Also, once HENC is up, it stays there, even when you switch FWs, ex you run 2.71 off MS, HENC is still active!! So you dont have to run it again!! ALso during sleep, I sleep my PSP so I dont have to relaunch HENC and/or Devhook!

so RealG187, gues we hav the same problem on our psp..i usualy quickly view the henc random pic,the grey pic will apear full screen..den i wait 1 sec,to make the memstick stp loading..den i press x..it workz 99% for my psp..i dont noe abt urz..im stil waiting for "etv"..lol...but i absolutely hate "assistant tiff" it crash MOST OF THE TIME, but i stil use it,veri useful..haha..veri irony..lol..

SOmetimes the long way is beter and sometimes the short way, I usually just run a hombrew and ignore the message then run HENC. I hear if you delete yur HENC and put it back on again it works better and if u put it as readonly so the PSP doesnt write to it, cuz that may lower the crashing to working ratio...
maps
yeah...tats rite..longer and safer...haha...
RealG187
I like the short way, i just run HB and ignore...
shadowad

Or you could just downgrade to 1.50 (be careful not to brick your PSP) then install 3.03 OE-A2.
That will let you play homebrew, ISOs, UMDs and PS1 games from the XMB.
maps
i have not downgrade/upgrade yet but i might later...anyways,how to have 2 hen?? it can only be 1 hen and itz hen-d....u cant have both hend running..it will juz stuck at the blue screen wen loading the second time..i tried, haha, juz for the fun of it...

is there any news that ta-082 bricked when downgrade?? anyone??
RealG187
U can even play PS1 ISOs from XMB?? I have a homebrew emualtor...

ANyways, where can I get a downgrader with ALL the files I need. I dont wanna search around for files or get the wrong ones. Also where can I get the CFW for 3.01?? Duz it run both types of homebrew, the ones that run in 1.5 via Devhook and the oens that run with just HENc [like the devhook lunacger it self!!]
g4m30v3r
lol its so hard in brickin ta-082 2.71 WITH!! hen-d

you have to be a dumbass not following simple directions...

i used to be a ta-082 2.5 ---> 2.71 ----> downgraded to 1.5 ---> 3.03 OE-A1

its really simple and takes about 10 minutes to do the whole process make it 20 to install from 3.02 OE-A to 3.03 OE-A1
