Presumably you mean a raw DVD rip.

The only way PSPVideo9 will convert a DVD to a MP4 properly is if you've ripped the main movie to one single contiguous decrypted .VOB file.

The best way I've found to do this is to use DVD-Decrypter and tell it not to split VOB files. Then after ripping just drop the biggest (4gig+) VOB file into PSPVideo9 and it should work. I've done it this way and it's worked fine.

If the primary audio stream isn't the one you want though, you'll need to do more work, you can get DVD-Decrypter to only rip selected streams.

Thats what i did and it works if you do it in the original PSPvideo 9 but i want to do it in the new AVC format since it will result in a smaller file size with better quality.

So it works as MP4 but not AVC? Wierd. It may be some limitation of PSPV9 I haven't come across... No other clever ideas sorry.

As for as i know avc will only work with nero and you have to have nero recode to convert or watch avc.mp4's
