Full Version: How do u dump a UMD with 2.71 se-b Firmware

Im running the 2.71 SE-B firmware and its FANTASTIC. It runs iso & cso with no problems. I tried fastloader v 0.7 and its not compatible, I also used UMD Dumper and it wont run. If anyone knows how to backup my UMD's with that firmware Please help I have a lot of games id like to backup and shrink to upload to this site. If anyone can help MUCH APPRECIATED Thanx

i use umd dumper .02 i think its called it works fine for me i have the 1.5 version

HEY!!!! I figured it out You have to put the UMD Dumper 0.2 in the prp\opper folder.

IT Goes in the GAME150 folder of the 2.71SE-B firmware cuase its a 1.5 app.

i think their is a umd dumper that can dump it right into a .dax
i havent tried it yet but here is a link if u want to try it

PS it also can dump into iso and across usb and wifi

you can use any umd dumper!

actually if you go into recovery mode with the 2.71 se-b3 you can choose what kernel is used by the game folder.

example. game folder can run 1.5 homebrew and your 2.71 homebrew goes in the game271 folder
or game folder can run 2.71 homebrew and your 1.5 homebrew goes in the game150 folder

ya my game folder is my 1.50 stuff and game271 is my 2.71 stuff
just makes more sense that way
