I've been having a play with the browser on my 2.0 PSP, and I've gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with it. I didn't expect to have any use for it as a couple of the sites I wanted to use, required flash. Or so I thought, they've been recoded so they are all PHP scripts and javascript instead. Net result, they work fine.

Gmail works okay, although the text-entry gets _very_ slow if you're replying to something with a big quote attached to it. (Fix-> Use the quick-reply option).

Did psp-spot have a PSP-friendly version of the site, or should I just run it through IYHY.com?

Important safety tip: Don't load WE TRY TO STEAL PSP-SPOT STAFF using the browser. It can't cope with it due to the sheer amount of crap on the main page smile.gif

yep we have a psp friendly page. http://www.psp-spot.com/browser/ or http://psp.psp-spot.com smile.gif. I don't bother going to pspupdates as it takes a few minutes to load up on my dial up connection sad.gif.

There is a new site I ran acrooss that I thought was really interesting and unique. As now there are more and more sites making PSP sized sites... PSPeeps features an ONSCREEN KEYBOARD and CHAT for PSP users. This is really a neat feature. Also, you can enter in words or url in through the keyboard and either get the results from Google or if it is a url... "surf" straight to your destination. cool.gif

I have found this tool to be infinitely easier to use than the PSP "phone style" keyboard. I strongly recommend it.

Keep up the good work. smile.gif
