I personally do not own a tv capable of 1080p, and very few TVs do...I dont think consumers will care enough to make blu-ray a standard.

yeah i dont see whay the big deal is about blu-ray. everyone is talking about it but im just like who cares? i think its a waste. i predict it will fail like the UMD did.

to play blue rays do u have to have a special tv, or player for it, becuase the idea is cool, but idk about the rest...

You dont need special devices to run it... omg.. its just a 32bg disc.. and very expensive..

seems like another beta tape versus vhs. And we all know who won that one.

You need a HD plasma Tv to use notice the full potential of blue ray disks, i tjink using a blueray player doesnt require special Tv's you only need a Stero tv lol.
