wat i can gather from your post is that you have succesfully bricked your PSP.. now this can happen to the due the reasons listed below.

1. Your PSP is TA-082 which is a complete no-no if u are downgrading
2. You din follow the instructions and read the included readme
3. You switched off your PSP manually while your PSP was downgrading

If you think that any of the above listed reasons justify the cause of you bricking your PSP, then read on or please specify wat caused it to brick..

If it is reason 1, then please note that as of now there is no way of reviving a bricked TA-082 PSP as of now so i would recommend using the PSP for other things like to sell its parts on ebay or use it as a paper weight...

If it is any one of the 2nd or 3rd reason, then you will have to spend atleast $99 and get yourself a modchip that will revive your PSP but will limit it to use only one firmware which is v1.50 and you'll have to emulate any other firmware via devhook.. now please note that i said atleast $99 casue it may/may not go over that if u choose to install it urself but lemme tell you that if u choose to install it urself and then mess up the install, then you may lose even the last chance of reviving your PSP..

i hope my reply was helpful..

thanks.. but none of the reasons listed above causes it to brick. mine is IC16001, i've followed the readme instruction but my PSP's battery give up easily i thought its ok to run on 2 bars battery..
but still i have option to buy modchip thanks to you...
