Why do people want to downgrade if we can just use eloaders? People downgrade and risking their psp getting bricked, but they can just use the eloader for games. can any1 tell me why? is downgrading to 1.5 better than eloader?

because you can launch homebrew straight of the xmb without loading eloader, iso loaders probally and the abillity to emulate...we got 1,50 and 2.71

so... if i have a 2.8 psp, i cant run games which need firmware 2.8+?
and is the game speed the same? cos i've heard people saying it runs slower if using eloader

You can run UMD's that require up to 2.80.

1.5 is better than eloader because homebrew won't freeze for no reason what so ever and the eloader is very unstable.
also the ability to "multitask" like ir shell i can listen to music and play gta (which requires 2.00 lol) and also i can do everything a 2.71 can do lol and load iso's which some ppl don't do and also we can customize our firmware like have a "dual boot" sorta thing we can also do much more than 2.71 with eloader but i just can't name them all because my psp was born with a 1.5 and i wouldn't know how it feels to be homebrewless!

You don't have to wait to load up your games. You can emulate up to 2.71(2.81 soon) and of course my lovers ISOs.

Trust me, it sucks being homebrewless.

i would bet it does since all i do to my psp is hack it to make mine more unique than any body else's i know and play either iso's, super nintendo, gba, gbc and many other homebrew (while listening to music) so basically i play homebrew more than umd's and what what i fill up my 4 gig with music? lol i already have 300 songs and 20 music vid's + 2 full movies

Wow, I have 2 2 gigs. One with 6 games, Genesis and SNES emulators with about 10 games for each, and X-Flash. The other with 229 songs, and 150 GTA custom tracks. And my PSP is modded to hell.

one thing y do u have custom sounds tracks for gta if you can launch mph gameloader with ir shell and listen to your regular mp3's at the same time! thats wat i do

No, your choices are stay at 2.01-2.6 and use the eloader, or downgrade to 1.5 and boot eboot's directly from the xmb.

This can also be done in 1.00, but 1.5 seems to be more widely accepted, so most of the homebrew is formatted for 1.5

i don't understand why people downgrade their PSP.

People downgrade to play isos which are real games that are saved on the mem stick for FREE, and to use sweet applications

i do it 4 two reasons:
1. FREE games .......lol
2. i h8 SONY for wat they did to lik-sang.

eloaders wont load all hoebrew and stuff. people downgrade to 1.5 so that all homebrew is accessible, almost all

using eLoader the number of homebrew is limited you can only do sow much. 1.50 in the other hand goes by far

downgrade ur 2.80 to 1.5 den upgrade to 3.03OE-b...thats better...the reason to downgrade is simple,more games and homebrew...MORE GAMES!!!!....n oso the ability to emulate to other firmware,meaning,plays avc n wma n internet n camera n location free player....

yup hez right..only homebrew no psp iso..simple to understand..im not sure if eloader can play devhook cz i dont use eloader..i use hend...and sill using hend...someday i will change to 3.03OE...
