I cannot find this file anywhere. Why not? I've heard that it is illegal?! Why would that be? Sorry for all the q's. Thanks

What do you need the file for?
I think it's illegal to distribute it because it is copyrighted by Sony.

Whenever someone is having a problem installing DevHook I always point them to the Ultimate Installer:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/post-315470.html#p315470It copies all the files to the memory stick for you, including the firmware files.

Wait a sec, so I can use 2.71 reboot.bin for emulating 2.6?! Cool!

Or you could just install DevHook 0.46 using the link I gave you and emulate 2.71.
Why would you specifically want to emulate 2.60?

Glad to hear you got it to work; and you can see what PSP-Spot thinks of that site in your post.

Whoa! lol, I didn't notice that. hmmm, I didn't think that that site had a bad rep. Other than its odd stand on emulation of UMD's. That kinda pisses me off.
