- GeneX announced Princess Maker 4 for PSP, a portable version of the popular life simulation game. The PSP version will have a large number of new events and possible endings not found in the PC version.

- Sony announced Piposaru Racer [Ape Escape Racer] for PSP, a new racing game featuring the popular monkey characters from the Sarugetchu series, the game will have over 46 playable vehicles, each with different range of attributes. Piposaru Racer will be released in 2006.

- Banpresto announced a PSP port of the popular RPG title Rivieria: Promised Land, the PSP version will have full voice dubbing on all dialogs.

- Namco Bandai announced Rider Racers 2 for PSP will include the classic game New Rally-X as a mini game, Rider Racers 2 will be released on September 14, 2006.

- Bandai Namco will release a new PSP mech action fighting game Gundam Battle Royale in Japan on October 5, 2006, the game will have over 70 playable characters.
