"Its official, Atari's time-bending shooter is coming to Xbox and Xbox 360.

August 22, 2005 - Today Atari officially made public what has been suspected for some time: TimeShift will be coming to Xbox and Xbox 360. The title is a first-person shooter developed by Sabre Interactive that allows players to stop, slow, speed-up, and reverse time.



The game was first announced for the PC in January of this year and the project has been progressing steadily ever since. We were treated to a huge amount of footage at E3 in May and most recently at an Atari Press event earlier this month. Producer Kyle Peschel was on hand to walk us through the unique mechanics of TimeShift and reveal a few more of its technical achievements.
