i have about 30+ iso's/cso's on my computer but they r all about 700mb+ and was wondering what level on the iso compressor 1.1 is the best (1-9). i herd if u compress it to much it takes longer to load. so which is the best level so the iso is significantly smaller but doesnt take to long to load??

thanks

Level 9 is the best compression level but it takes longer to compress. Level 1 doesn't take very long but doesn't compress much. I haven't heard anything about too much compression (if there is such a thing) making the game load slower . . . I would think that it does nothing. I mean if you look at emulators (PSPVBA for example) the zipped files load faster than if the rom wasn't zipped. So wouldn't a smaller CSO (level 9 compression) load faster if anything? That's just my odd theory. rolleyes.gif

Oh, and all my CSO's are level 9 compressed and they seem to all run fine. (GTA is HELLA laggy though but I think that's just GTA, not the compression from what I've heard)

9 is best although it doesnt compress tht much anyway
