okay. THIS IS NOT THE SAME DOWNGRADER THAT I POSTED A FEW DAYS AGO. i need someone with a 2.70 PSP (NO, NOT 2.71, NOT 2.8. DO NOT EMAIL ME ASKING IF IT WILL WORK ON 2.71 OR 2.8 OR WHEN IT WILL BE AVAILABLE.) that is willing to test a downgrader for me and h3r3t1c. it has been confirmed by one person that it works, so there is a 50% chance it will brick your psp. this downgrader requires 2 memory sticks.

THIS DOWNGRADER IS IN BETA STAGES, BRICKING IS VERY MUCH POSSIBLE. IT HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED BY ONE PERSON, AND IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY SUCCESSFUL.

ALSO, I NEED SOMEONE WITH A VIDEO CAMERA TO RECORD THE DOWNGRADER. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU HAVE ONE. then upload it to youtube.com or somewhere.

if you are inteterested please PM me.

and now i have to cover my butt... biggrin.gif

YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO USE. THIS IS A TEST. THIS DOWNGRADER HAS NOT YET BEEN PROVEN WORKING!! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! BRICKING IS VERY MUCH POSSIBLE. PREFERABLY SOMEONE WITH A MODCHIP SO IT WONT PERMANENTLY BRICK.

AND I DONT WANT ANY RESPONSES SAYING "IT WONT WORK" OR "YOUR STUPID". SERIOUS PM'S ONLY PLEASE.

thank you...

I really wish you guys wouldn't test this stuff on our users. If you think it's going to work update your psp and test it yourself, why do you have to put other peoples hardware at risk? Are you that unsure of the results?

i cant test it because i only have one memory stick...

nevermind i will find other people...
ShotokanTiger
they are giving them an option , its not that they are tricking them into testing it without them knowing there is a possibility of bricking , they didint even put a link in the first place , its only for those who are WILLING to take the chance or those who have a modchip , and he allready stated that there are risks
SlipknotMaggot

I wouldn't think of trying ths without knowing how it works. You can't just say "I released a dwongrader! Come try it!" You at least need to tell us what you have done to make the update successfully boot and also why this is different from all the other "2 memory stick swap" methods taht have failed before. If you give some detail and it sounds legit, I might actually consider doing this because I don't use my psp much. And in the near impossible case that this program can actually touch my flash and brick it, there's always the modchip.
rrm74001
i guess i should know this, but i dont. i will ask h3r3t1c exactly what he did. update soon.

OK TO EVERYONE WHO HAS A 2.7+ PSP I RECOMMEND U DO NOT USE THIS DOWNGRADER!!!!!

i think no one should use a downgrader by thses guys because look they are so unsure of the results that they won't try it themselves blink.gif so wtf y should u and i don't believe this guy about 1 person already downgraded because they should have a vid which they don't (what happened to the one u guys said was being worked on.....)
all these guys really did was EDIT THE 1.5 UPDATE to say it was a 2.71 update on the second memory stick and on the first one there was just a regular 2.71 update, so basically these guys' method was to launch the 2.71 update then remove the memory stick at 0% and then put the 1.5 update (that was edited to say it was a 2.71 update, but thats been proved to be a problem to launch since the checksum was changed (security) so then they just hope that the 1.5 update (edited to be a 2.71 update just changed the param.sfo) will launch but there is a problem thats exactly what they did in the first downgrader theyad except they didn't edit the 1.5 param.sfo and they used the 2.8 update instead of the 2.71 that goes on the first memory and that has bricked some psp's already!!!!!!!
SO U CHOSE I HAVE TOLD U WHAT THEY DID AND THATS HOW IT WORKS

ps if i said forgot to include something on how this is made plz you or heretic correct me.

pss one more thing plz keep this to yourself at your website untill something REAL comes out of this wink.gif because lots of ppl are new to the psp scene and don't really know much about it cool.gif and no one wants them to brick, right?

for the last time, the reason why i cannot test is because i only have one memory stick!

and i do too suggest that no one use this dowgrader. .0000001% chance i will work.

Well, I don't know the price of ms in your country
But in a my country a 32MB MS is really cheap (as a comparison, my 2GB MS costs only 80 bucks)
I think if you are serious about what you are doing, please go buy a 32 MB MS, it really won't cost much
And don't use this as an excuse
If you really don't have the money, borrow the ms from someone else.
Don't tell me none of people of your friends have a ms, and bricking a ms is much more cheaper than bricking a psp
(and a ms have warranty)
