Ok, im making some notes.

Im editing the PBP with a HEX EDITOR.

Here is some notes:

All the strings in the file (that would be PARAM.SFO) can be changed and the game will still run.
Im Running Loco Roco Downloadable Cheese that needs Firmware 1.5.
The Files the Game is in, PSP/GAME/Something/ does not matter. Saw quite a few posts about that Something bit having something to do with the encyption. It doesnt. I changed the one for the locoroco demo, and it ran fine.
The locoroco demo is on my memory card. It loads. I get the the select language screen. I eject my memory card. I have just played the whole demo with the memory card on the table infront of me.

Also, i noticed on the psp website, it said

*As of June 1, 2006, this method is only available for updates up to version 2.60.

None after 2.60? Maybe their is a hole in the code or something there.... anyone got the hardware and software to burn data onto a UMD? (This may sound like a stupid question, but it has been done for Gameboy.)

Just a few notes... May have more soon

Well, if you eject the mem card on the white screen, it will fade into black.
