i am looking for anyone who has a psp with a firmware verson 2.7 to try out a new downgrader only for 2.7.

people with a TA-082 should not particapate in this downgrader!!!!!!!!!

I have 2.7 fw but you should ask someone with a mod-chip to try this so if it bricks the can re-flash the motherboard?

Or we could just buy a devolpers kit from sony i think the price is only 6000 t0 8000.

this test wont brick ur psp. i have tested it on my 2.71 psp and works fine but it needs to be tested on a 2.7 psp thoe.

bad news every1!!!!!!!!!!!!! my usb cable gave out on me and now i cant connect my psp to my computer until i get a new one unless i get some ppl to test out the eboots and i make them

seeing as noone has voluntered yet , i will , get on msn , but you have to tell me how to check if my psp is not TA-082 , and i need to know if anything will happen to my psp

^^ open up ur UMD drive and look at the top right corner...it should be written in bronze colored writing...

not true. it is true ta-082 will have 2.5FW+ but NOT true that all FW2.5+ have ta-082

My psp came with 2.5 and is not TA-082 (well... no writing at least)

now that there is a mod chip it is crazy for anyone without it to TRY downgraders for 2.70+ you are very likely to get a brick.....

Couldnt you run homebrew through a PSP portal because i just downloaded a portal and it has a bunch of games on it you know just a thought.

PIMPPIMP the games on an internet portal are made in flash or javascript. you cant run homebrew games (eboots) that way. you need to run them in the game section on the psp's menu. That only works on 1.00-2.60 fw not 2.7 or 2.71.
