So for a long time now we have heard that Sony would be releasing a 4 and an 8Gb memory now the product will be public for Europe in September. Even though it has been available in other places for some time now. According to the Sony the 4GB stick can hold up to 1000 MP3 songs, 3000 digital photos in 5 mega pixel resolution or more than 9 hours of MPEG-4 video, which probably means it'll hold around 2/3 of that. The price announced in Europe is 170 Euro around $274.

Has the new PSP firmware enabled 8GB MS reading?

I thought it was limited at 4GB?

The PSP is limited to 4gb for now, future updates might fix that (especially since the 8gb pro duo is already out).
