Hi, recently purchased a jap psp 1.5 and haven't upgraded.

I currently have these games:

MGS : acid
Burnout
Ridge Racer
GTA:LCS
Pro Evolution 5
Tiger Woods
Fired Up
Wipeout

I have them all as ISO's also. With these files to play them via memory card do they need patching? Am i on the right tracks as PRX?

What im after is a highly detailed guide with screenshots showing how to get these games to work.

I've been looking for days and haven't had much hope and seem to be coming across my queries on lots of forums and today im hoping for them all to come to one.

If I do recieve a detailed instruction for the above game loading then I will gladly place a donation to who ever provides this.

Thanks in advance.

May I suggest that you download Devhook. This will be a huge help to you.

I think nearly all of those titles except maybe GTA, ProEvo and possily Tiger Woods will run on a 1.5 from the UMD or ISO.

Are the ISOs that you have ones that you yourself have ripped straight from the UMDs or have you 'aquired' them somehow?

I'm sure you don't need to offer money to get help from this site. There are many good people here smile.gif

FREE- thats just what I like to hear. They ISO's are from somewhere else as its quicker for me to download than 'rip' (if i can use that term) but i do actually own them titles legit.

I have the new devhook. You say they run from the UMD - dont want to keep switching as i have rubberised case which covers the disc opening and saves carrying arround discs with me.

Should dev hook run all the above fine? devhook042.rar - thats what i've got.

everytime i press load on dev it just switches off my psp?

the settings im using are ....

target: reboot XMD
umd-iso : ridge racer. iso
mode : iso anyumd
ver 2.xx>2.00
flash 250
clock 222/111
remove: remote controller

do i need to use the dev firmware loader first?

There is a step by step tutorial of how to get devhook running on this forum. Just search it.
LightSight
thanks ns9 but i can't actually find anything and prior to this post i searched, but was it a good enough search? - you say not. Is there any chance you can post me a link.

Devhook never seems to work for me :s must be doing something wrong. do i need to do anything with the devhook firmware loader?

also most of the games, exception of gta and pro evo work through UMD Emulator v0.8 - thanks ! donation coming your way.

Here you go.
Also make sure your dh folder is around 11 mb not 64 kb like some are downloading.
LightSight
i've actually just loaded gta and i havent touched devhook yet.

what i did was loaded UMD emo v0.8c then loaded the iso to 'system menu' i think it was.

the psp restarted and then i went to MPHgame loader and the game loaded.

what benefits would dev hook give me?

psp1.5 rocks!

Devhook lets you use the 2.5 psp browser and it will run any game that requires 2.5 firmware. It basically emulates firmware 2.5.

hey lightsight, devhook 0.43 is on the torrent network. there is one that says fully loaded or something like that. thats the one i use. i can run the original gta rip (not modded for mphgameloader) it works great so far.

search for "Devhook 4.3 including 2.6 Firmware"
