I have a 1.52 PSP that I successfully downgraded to a 1.5. Everything worked fine for some months with both the loaders and using UMDs.

Two months ago I noticed that whenever I try to start a UMD (e.g. Lumines), my PSP freezes. ISOs still work fine and so forth, but actual UMDs in the drive cause the screen to freeze. I even tried to insert GTA to see if I could upgrade back to 2.0 to help-> but the GTA UMD freezes it as well.

Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this? Might it help to completely wipe my memory card and recopy the necessary files (I would doubt it since I already tried swapping back the in-package memory card and it didn't help.)?

well i only have had a 1.5 firmwre for about a week now so .....nothing like thats really happend to me....maybe reformat your memory stick and take out the battarie for a little while
