Along time ago, I used to use ISOs quite often, however, I stopped using my PSP for awhile, and I can't figure out how to get the new games working. I'm quite skilled with HB, and I knew how to use fastloader and UMDemu when they came out, however, What is all this talk about Devhook .41d, MPHGL, UMDgen, UMDemu 0.8c, and other stuff? What do they all do?

So I have an ISO for Mega Man Powered Up that I d'led, and I put it on my PSP, and fire up DevHook. I select some settings, after messing around (I've been playing with the 2.5 Browser, so I know 2.5 works), and I got it to show the ISO I want to play in where you would pick the UMD. I go to run the UMD, and it begins to load, gives me the message that I need to create a sav file, etc, and I hit OK. It takes me to a loading screen with MegaMan on it, and it says "Now Loading", and the orange light on my PSP is on, but nothings happening. I used some sort of patch on the ISO, and it did its thing, and because of the patch, I now get the loading screen, but how do I make it work, and what do all those programs do?

i think i had trouble with that game too, but your proccess seems right. try another game like pinball hall of fame that works. keep using devhook.

What I've found out is sometimes you have to format your memory stick. save what you want off of them, format it using the format function in the PSP, then dump back what you want onto it. I had to do that with 3 of my friend's MS's and my own. After that, all of my iso's and .cso's works! cool.gif
