SHADOW SNAKE
This might be a stupid question, but do you think that the blu-ray lens might be to strong for ps2 games to be played on the ps3?

Like those one cases where people were playing there games on the xbox360 and the
lens messed up the disk!
ghostsnyper
well lets see the points though......
1. xbox 360 doesnt have backwards caabilities on most games so they most likely will burn up....
2. if it the ps3 is backwards capable, then the lens will just dim the power used to read it a little...so it wont be as strong on the ps2 or ps1 discs.....just a thought as im no sony expert
thanato
from what i have read the ps3 is compatible with both ps2 and ps games.

Yes PS3 is backward compatiable, I have a ps3 and Im playing SOCOM 2 - SOCOM CA on it - they work fine.

Ill try PS1 later.

id be laughing if the ps3 lens wore out.
