Does anyone know how to verify the MTU settings when trying to get on xbox live on the xbox 360. I have tried and it says to do something with the routher. I would except I am currently on the resnet system at my university.

Hmmm...that may be a problem, as you cannot change anything manually. Call xbox tech support, they may be able to assist you.

it may be something to do with your router, are you running settings in automatic on ur 360, if no then i think you should be

its common sense to setup xbox 360 but i have a thing with the disk tray dont open on command it sticks all the damn time
