Crave have officially announced today that Dave Mirra BMX Challenge is currently in development for the PSP. We’ve known this for a while, but now we’ve managed to obtain the first images of the game as well as the first information on the title.

The game will contain 17 levels with nine different environments. All the player characters will be customizable, and of course Dave Mirra himself will be a selectable rider. There are nine bikes to choose from and the game will support ad hoc multiplayer for up to four players.

Dave Mirra is endorsing this game for the first time since his name was dragged through the mud with BMX XXX. Here's hoping this game does justice to his name.
