i have a little tiny crack on the bottom of my psp where the nail is. I called them and said theres a crack and i think it will get bigger, and they told me my warrenty is void because i got a crack. I gatta pay 90 bucks. Is there anything i can do? It looks like a scratch, nothing much

i doubt it, the warranty covers serious internal hardware/software flaws. anything you could have "potentially" caused yourself, like cosmetic errors or cracked cases wouldn't be covered, if they were sony would lose a lot of money.

ok, can i do something to the software to mess it up and get sony to get meh a new 1?
onyxx
well if you can make about 16 deal pixiels, other than that messin with the software will void your warranty, keep in mind if you send your PSP to sony they will update it to the current FW.

wtf are you hammerin nails in your psp? That would explain the crack.

Well, if you don't mind voiding the warranty anyway, you can always just get a new faceplate kit or something. Try lik-sang.com

my advice is... deal with it. a small crack is nothing to worry about, you could do a faceplate replacement, like the monkey said, or you could drill a tiny hole at the end of the crack and use super glue ( a little bit in the hole drilled and a cotton swab over the crack ) but that might melt some of the casing if you use too much.

it can also depends on where you bought it, some places will put your used psp in a box and send it back to sony no questions asked. If they give you a new unit, you can assume that it'll be 2.1 or better, it's your call.

the face thing wouldnt work, the little crack is right above the nail, and the same thing is on the top, but they are small
