I have seen a few pictures of the "upcomming" 3.0 firmware. I am skeptical of this. In the features it shows an icon that says "Harddrive". I don't think they are going to have a harddrive. There is no place to put it. It would have to be external. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

I agree - you can get an external drive but its only 4gig. Unless the hard drive will allow you to examine the contents of the memory stick without connecting to a computer???

I do recall that Sony is planning on making a new PSP with a hard drive. Also, with the PS3 coming out, maybe the PSP can access the PS3's hard drive.
