So i recently got my hands on a white PSP. I have a 2.00 firmware, and i was wonderin if anyone knew what would happen if i either downgraded to 1.5 with an american version. Would it be 1.5 american, japanese or would my psp brick? the second option since i am in america when i update what firmware will i recieve jap or US. and if US wat will happen will the region change or will the psp brick

um if you think 2.6 is downgradable then your wrong there isn't a downgrader yet but there will be soon hopefully

you could run homebrew on your firmware 2.6 psp though using fanjita's eloader

umm i think that your white psp will become whatever eboot region u use but im not sure
if your psp is already an american i think it will stay an american because i downgraded my american psp with a japanese upgrade and i still play all my umd's and it didn't brick (i think i used a japanese 1.5 firmware update becuse on the read me it says "- Firmware 1.50 Japanese"

i wouldn't risk it, jap/american firmwares were different for 2.0, a lot of people bricked their 1.5's upgrading with the jap firmware before the official US release.
