Full Version: firmware upgrades
i have got a psp1000, it needs updating so that i can play newer games EG:GTAlc anyone out there that knows how where to get these updates from?
Most games you buy will have an update on them already that you can run.
If you insert your UMD and go to the game list and go down it should give PSP UPDATE ver 2.xx or whichever update it needs. The icon is a pic of a UMD with 2 arrows within it.
If not, you can download the firmware and add it to the PSP\GAME\UPDATE folder on your mem stick and run it from the game list.

its sayin that i dont need an update but the game dont play?
Then it might be worth using MPH downgrader utility to downgrade to 1.0 and then apply the update you require to cure that.
