Okay everyone. This is directed at those who have had trouble downloading MP4's from this site: psp-spot. I'm sure many of you have ha the same problem. When you choose an MP4 to download, nothing happens except a little tiny Hard drive symbol with a red arrow appears in the bottom left hand corner of the window. After 3-30 mins (depends on your connection) the little red arrow will disappear and the word done will now appear next to the hard drive symbol. After a while the internet explorer turns white as though it is attempting to load a new website but failing. Soon this will sort itself out and you will be left with a blank operational Internet Explorer screen and, if you have it, Apple Quicktime in the centre. Quicktime, strangely enough, will start playing your MP4 in a few seconds.
From here, there is no way to find the MP4 file on your hard drive. It is only downloaded temporarily (i checked cookies and temp internet file and i got nothing) and once you close down the Internet Explorer window with Quicktime in it the file will disappear. And the memory the file took up will be reagained (have a look in Control Panel: Performance and Maintenance: Rearrange items on your hard drive to make programs run faster. This will show you your HDD memory quickly and with ease, and you will be able to see what is happening when you are downloading and close the window.
For example let us say i have 70GB on my HDD. Once i start downloading it will slowly decrease (say the file is around 80mb) to 62GB. Then Quicktime will open and play. Once you close Quicktime you memory will increase to 70GB again.
The only solution to this is to unistall Quicktime. This way you will get the standard OPEN : SAVE : CANCEL downloading and everything goes withou a hitch. Just select a directory and then move it over to your PSP.
