Hi all,

I was bored last night so thought I would have a quick scan in my house for any wireless networks...

I found 2...both without any form of encryption.
Now what a silly thing to do. 10 seconds later I was hooked up with their network, but the signal strength was too low.

Tonight I am having a walk a few doors down to find where they live and have a quick game on multiplayer burnout.

This will be around about 6.30pm GMT so if anyone is out there that fancies a match up, my username will be PAC1977.

Saves me having to pay for my own wireless network if people are too stupid to secure theirs! Can't wait for the summertime when it will be nice and warm outside!

So:
Lesson 1 - always secure your network.
Lesson 2 - always have your PSP near to hand to check for unsecure networks
Lesson 3 - Leeds is a good area to get into wireless network support to show these people how to secure and to make money from them for charging for the service.

So if you see a man loitering outside your house on a PSP and you own a wireless network, be wary, he may be using your network!

Yeah there seems to be alot of stuff like tahat. I didn't know you could connect to a wifi network in burnout i thought it was only psp to psp :s

College dorms are also a good place for a lot of signals.

I have found that the school where my wife works also has an unsecure wireless network.

I can now go online when I go to pick her up.

I might drop a leaflet off there about my new business venture...securing wireless networks!

I am glad that my post has been informative and people are securing their networks because of it.

does our psp have the network ready or must we install it?

it has the network ready but only from 2.0 to + versions i think

haha thats pretty funny my school has a non secure network but the use web security to prevent you from getting on any good sites like this one

yea i got the same thing at my school. i used to use a proxy server but they blocked that 2 so now i cant post during my school day which is completetly gay> so does anyone kno how to bypass a inrternet security filter like websense cause it would be really helpfull to find out so i dont hav to listen to god dna chemistry all danm day? please help

hahah suckers i have my on MAC address security meaning that only preferred mac addresses are accepted so it looks like its insecure but if ur not on the preferred list u cant get in but yeah there are a lot of free signals

at my school i can't get on many "cool" sites because its blocked
but its ok because i can still download other things from other sites but the ssid's are blacnk there isn't any letters numbers or symbols so my psp says that there is an internal problem and gives me some numbers and if it goes as far as obtaining the ip address (rarely) it says that the time is up that its taking to long to obtain ip address or something can n e body help me

i can crack some 1 wifi in 1min


and change admin rights it will not mater it can be crack esy

best thing to do it get a router and plug wifi in to that then block by ip not mac adress if for some reson you cna not contect modfi the ip only way to stop out siders geting on yore network

pm me if you whant to crack wifi ile teach you its not legal in some states so have check you out see whats legal but ile do it

hey guys its it worth setting up wireless connection between a laptop and psp if you've only got dail up?

Wireless networks is very important to secure your connection.
I have to say that I have a laptop and I know a lot of people that get free internet because of those that dont secure their wireless connections and thats a concern.
I havent connect my psp to the web but of course that I will do it .
We have to be careful about it and read a lot cause everyday they are creating new trojans ,virus and bad things and in my opinion psp will be a tasteful target for that! be aware!
