I was just curious about this, and I would figure it out myself, but I don't have my PSP with me (I'm at work), and I'm too lazy to find out if this is true.....
Anyways, my question is, if you put the PSP to sleep (say like in the middle of gameplay), and if you remove the battery or attempt to swap batteries, do you lose the information stored for when you put the system to sleep?

I put psp in sleep in the middle of a game, took out the battery, then put it back in again. I turned the psp back on and it said 'Do you want to quit the game' I clicked no and i was still in the same place on my game. Does that answer your question.

Do you know how to turn on your PSP? You turn your psp on after that do the same thing that you did to turn you psp on and it enters into sleep mode. Don't hold onto the slider because that will just turn it off.
