I would like to know if import psp can read any region?! That information would be very usefull in my choice! ( Wait till sept. or send a ship bring a "beauty" TO ME!)

Well yes and no. an import psp can read any game from any region but it cant read regioned movies. So if u get a Jap psp it cant read american umd movies.

Jap UMD movie is R2 same as UK UMD movies R2

USA movies are R1.

Yeah and the games may end up being region coded completely eventually, seeing as how that is what Sony has done with their other consoles. And the game developers don't just send there games to Sony to get made to be UMDs, but they send it to there region (SCEA will region code to 1, SCEJ will code to 2, SCEE will code 2 as well, etc.)

im sure they will be soon but for now im happy that they arnt haha

this would be very handy if someone could hack the firmware for region free on all films.. only a matter of time i guess
