does anyone have the "1.5" firmware download that they can post. if so it would b highly appreciated

You can't use it to downgrade. If you need to upgrade go buy Coded Arms.
The Man, the Myth, the Legend.
Why do you adise to buy Coded Arms?

Cant we just download the upgrade?

Because the 1.5 update is hard to track down because it was only out while people didn't have a way to load homebrew off of it so it wasn't very popular.

Is the 1.5 firmware on the UMD disc itself or is it downloaded?

I mean if it's on the disc it could be extractable, right?

Thanks but I've allready have the 1.50 Jap version. But unfortunatly I can't update, cause I can't charge my battery and the update doesn't execute with an empty battery. Even with the powersupply connected.

why cant u charge ur battery

I don't know. There seems to be a bug in the charging detection software of the PSP, when the battery hits 0%, either that or the battery is busted. But I just got word from my supplier, I'm getting a new battery shipped right away and free of charge. Warranty issye. So, within a week I'll be well on my way.
