Can someone teach me what i need to hex in the boot.bin to play with a specific umd game? I can understand that i need to change the dir from disk0 to fatms but what about the specific umd things? How does it work?

Can someone shed some light on this..

Meaning you will not ask me to hack the game into working with a specific UMD, I am far too busy to do that

then why dont you tell everyone how to do it, so you dont get all these pms? smile.gif

Guys there is many nice games still out there with no loader
specialy the golf game and dead to right

Yes thats the exact reason y i asked this question, so we can atleast contribute to the community then by juz asking over2 again like fags for loaders..

Yeah, please tell us how to do it! It can't be THAT difficult. Can it?
JaggedIce
the people that know how to do it spent many hours researching it, and spoon feeding others is not a good thing to do, maybe ask for some information or webpages partaining to it, instead of asking for a step bystep walkthrough

If it was so easy, we would have all loaders for all games..

In reality some games are easier then others.

Just change disc0 to fatms or ms0 in boot.bin

Other games require .prx file relocation

ANd others require UMD check removed, but then some games have secondary UMD check.

Now if you don;t want PSP_GAME dir you simply replace allinstances with new dir name you wish, usually if you want multiple games on MS.

Best to learn is take unmodified boot.bin and compare in hex editor the modified boot.bin for comparison

i've also read that removin the umd check, disables the sound - not sure if this is the case with all games..
