I have a PSP with Firmware 2.6 and i want to know if there are any games besides tetris that i can put on my PSP. I also need to know if there are any cool emulators like SNES that i can put on my PSP.

I know itz really hard to find crap for 2.6 but i didnt know about homebrew stuff when i first got my psp so i just upgraded to 2.6

But if you can respond to this post thatd be great. thanx

yeah id like to know too. im not waiting to play new games and waiting for firmware hacks everytime a new game comes out that forces a update to play. it kinda gets old

Latest news. Fanjita has made it possible to run eboots off 2.01-2.5 psps (NOT 2.6) Sorry for all u 2.6 guys u will have to be patient. So far there are a few working homebrew for 2.01+ (not 2.6) including snes emulator but has only been tested with one rom. Anyway this is great news for those of us with 2.01-2.5 firmware out there and a start to working homebrew on all psp versions

I think so... This isn't a new snes emu.. just a modified one.

there already is an eloader (eboot loader) for firmware's 2.0+ and the eloader is still in beta form so i don't recommend n e body updating just yet fanjita is working on an eloader but to many ppl keep well bugging him so don't ask him stupid questions because its distracting him

the only emulators that can run on firmware 2.01 2.5 or 2.6 are snes homer's edited RIN (gb or gbc emulator) ps1 (slow as hell) and genesis they don't start/run every time so have patience as fanjita's eloader is still in beta form but hopefully not for long

I have had luck running Snes 9x with sound on firmware 2.6 with the eboot program, although it is a little slow, (choppy) when there is a lot happening on screen. I've also gotten a Dgen to work on the same system, although no sound...=0( hopefully it gets fixed soon.

No that's not possible at this point.... And why wolud you like to do that? The previoues is 2.5 and it hase the same capebillety to run hombrew

yea the eloader sucks and i think it has no volume (not sure i have 2.00 and/or 1.50 ) but remember its only in beta form so you shouldn't expect the best and perfect thing at this point

yea there's a beta snes emulator, but you'll need a copy of gta lcs

an emulator is a program that emulats game consols (makes the program think its another consols) like the snes emulator will let the psp run snes roms (super mario ) and the genesis emulator will let the psp run genesis roms (sonic )
