Im trying to download music to my psp, but apparently when I plug my USB cord into my comp it is automatically supposed to create a new drive, then if you open the file it says PSP. This hasnt happened yet, and sometiems when I try to plug my usb cord into 4 of the usb entrances, my comp says that it would be faster if I used a usb 2.0. I downloaded the psp video 9 software, and it doesnt detect my cord.

Ok, ill explain how I put music on my PSP. I do not use PSP Video 9 and that could conflict with something. So before doing my method, please uninstall that program for now.
Once uninstalled, plug your usb into the psp and computer. Select the feature on the PSP called USB Connection by pressing X.
Once done, the PSP should have a new message to display. Once a connection is established make your way to My Computer. You should see a removable disk drive, that is your PSP. double click on that icon and you should be presented with a directory containing a folder named PSP.
Double Click on that, and you should see a folder named MUSIC. Go in there and then drag whatever selected MP3's you wish to put on. after everything has transferred, you can cancel the connection by pressing O (Circle). It is now safe to unplug the wire from your PSP and Computer.
