so in my iso folder i delete an iso. the file goes away(not sure where). the psp and pc show the same amount of free space as before i deleted the iso. i try to add another iso and i get an error stating that the card has insufficient space. the file is nowhere to be found. can anyone help me out? this is happening with both a sandisk 1g and a sony 2g.

yea that happened to my 1gig memory stick and i don't know y it happens but it just does and the way i fixed it is by backing up the files that i wanted onto my pc and then i formatted the memory stick then i just readded the files

On my stick on my root folder there is a a Trash Folder... I have noticed that when I delete pictures, music or videos from my PSP memu, it goes there... until I hook it up to my PC and then drag it to the PC's trashcan, then it gets erased permanetly...

Hadn't noticed the 'trash can' but i have noticed when deletefiles ive noticed the space doesn't clear. I now do a 'shift-del' (perminately delete without going to the recycling bin and that works fine!
slaphappygamer
i couldnt see the recycle bin either. ill try shift-del.

If all else fails, backup all your files then format your memory stick and put them all back on. Your homebrew may cease to function, just rename the folders and rename them back to their appropriate names.

You may want to try empty the recycle bin on your desktop which should just clear everything on your computer.

STYLEZ the memory sticks have a lock switch?????
i don't think mine has one
slaphappygamer
ive never see that. mine dont have a lock.

The picture is of the plain memory stick. Pro Duo's do not include the lock feature (at least the Sony/Sandisk ones dont, not sure about the Lexar brand ones).

Ive been having the same prob, for some reason all my iso's go straight to the recycle bin when i delete stuff in USB mode. Guess i just gotta remember to hold shift while deleting.
superdude159
that sucks
