Hi all,
I need a favour and a bit of advice.
I was having a look at using the Firmware Loader last night as I have a 1.5 game and a 2.0 game. I got an ISO of the 1.5 game to see if I could get UMD-Emulator to work.
My PSP is a 2.0.
I downgraded fine got myself to 1.5 firmware got UMD Emulator working and the iso, fantastic.
Then thought I would try to get firmware loader on and see if I could get my 2.0 game to work.
I was following the instructions fine. Got to the point where I used PSP Firmware Processor to copy the out/outx files and then I got stuck.
I read the instructions over and over, had a look at the readme in the Firmware processor where it mentioned moving the BIOS1 file next to the Flash0 and couldn't find a BIOS1 on the stick or anywhere.
So I need some help. After using the firmware processor to sort out all the files what do I do? I am guessing that the author of the instructions does not have English as his 1st language (not a criticism, just a point) and I am stuck.
I am guessing that I am probably just missing a really simple point. I work in IT but this side of things is new to me.
Is there anyone nice enough to tell me how to complete this and then I can play both games! Wohoo!
Many thanks in advance
Paul
P.S - Is there anyway that you can have 2.0 on your PSP and launch 1.5 from firmware loader. Or will it only work the other way round?
Additional.
I have found a topic on the forum that mentions SXT Version Changer v2.02 I am going to try that to play my 2.0 ISO and then should still be able to keep 1.5! My 2.0 game is burnout. Anyone know if this works with SXT?
