Dark_AleX has released a 1.50 kernel addon for 4.01 M33, and 4.01 M33-2 (a bugfix update).

Remember that the 1.50 kernel addon only works on 'fat' PSPs, NOT 'slim' PSPs.

4.01 M33-2 changes (from the readme):

I'm still on 3.90 M33-3, Everytime I check for an update via the M33 updater on my PSP it says I'm on the most recent software...

Edit: Well, now it works ... a couple of days ago, it didn't

... downloading and installing now from "network update" Yay DarkAlex!

Yes it does.
And PS1 EBOOTs have been supported since 3.02 OE if I remember correctly.

I'm happy on 3.90 M33 I see no real reason to jump to this CFW quite yet.

Same here; I haven't made the jump yet either.

Maybe when the new memory state feature I've been hearing about is implemented I'll upgrade.

i asked that because on custom firmware 3.93 M33 it didn't allow you to play PS1 eboots they would freeze in the midle of the game.

Do you mean 3.90 M33-3?
For some games you need to use the popsloader plugin and use the 3.71 (or older) pops files instead.

I've been out of the PSP scene for awhile...I think the last version i have is 3.71. haha. Well my friend bought a psp slim version 4.01 and I was wondering is there anyway that this can be made to play the iso's/cso's? Alright if anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

Yes it can; you need to read up about Pandora's Battery to do it. Good luck.

I just saw this (haven't been keeping up to date much), and it's glad to hear that DAX is still working hard! The only reason I'm updating is to keep up with any new games that might come out requiring it.
