*Note: This only works with the Wii version of Twilight Princess*
___
Items/Programs you will need:
A Nintendo Wii
A Gamecube Controller
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Disc [I state again, Wii version only]
A SD Card [FORMATTED TO FAT16] (Max size the Wii uses so far is 2gb)
A SD Card Reader
USB Ghecko [Optional; For some emulators/homebrew]
SD Media Launcher [Optional; For some emulators/homebrew]
WinRAR
I will repeat, your SD Card must be formatted to Fat16 [If you need help with this, please look on Google].
Also, be sure to back up your original Twilight Princess save to your computer if you want to keep it.
If you see a .dol file inside an archive, you could delete it as it's for GAMECUBE HOMEBREW.
___
First Way [The easiest way]:
1) Download one of these pre-made packs I have prepared for all of you.
*Note: This pack includes the hacked save, and the "fake homebrew channel". [The fake homebrew channel allows you to have more than 1 homebrew/emulator on the SD card, and organizes it as well]
*Note 2: This depends on your REGION and the disc TEXT/WRITING which you can find on the inner circle of your Twilight Princess disc.*
Asia [RVL-RZDJ-0A-0 JPN] [363.07 KB]: http://sharebee.com/7bd3161d
Europe/Austrailia [RVL-RZDP-0A-0 JPN] [363.12 KB]: http://sharebee.com/8f1e72b4
North America ver. 1 [RVL-RZDE-0A-0 JPN] [363.11 KB]: http://sharebee.com/0a39debb
North America ver. 2 [RVL-RZDE-0A-0 USA] [363.11 KB]: http://sharebee.com/09d86409
North America ver. 3 [RVL-RZDE-0A-2 USA] [363.11 KB]: http://sharebee.com/2dc72e96
2) Once you finished downloading, extract to your desktop or any destination you can access easily.
3) Take the insides of the "Asia, Europe/Austrailia, North America ver. 1,2 or 3" folder, and copy and paste to the ROOT directory of your SD Card.
4) Put any homebrew in the homebrew folder with an appropiate name that applies. After doing so, You have finished making the SD Card, but this is not finished yet.
5) Onto the Wii, If you haven't, insert the Twilight Princess disc and the SD Card. Now go into Wii Options --> Data Management --> Save Data --> Wii. Find your Zelda save if you have one, and erase it
[REMEMBER, BE SURE TO BACK IT UP IF YOU WISH TO KEEP IT]. Now, go into the SD Card and select the icon that says "Wiibrew Loader" and click copy, it will now copy over to your Wii.
*Note: If there is no icon, take out the SD Card, load it into your computer via SD Cart Slot or a Card Reader, and rename "data.bin" to "data" [remove quotations] in x:\private\wii\title\RZDY [X being the root of your SD Card, Y being E,P, or J depending your region]*
6) Start Twilight Princess, load your save, and then walk backwards or talk to the man in front of you, bunch of code will appear and then your homebrew will start. That is all.
___
Now, sometimes this fails to work, so I included the manual but harder way to do this.
Second Way [The harder way you should only try when the first way fails]
1) Download this [488.64 KB]: http://sharebee.com/610c0864
2) Inside the .rar, is many ".bin" files, to locate which one you need for this hack to work correctly, look at the inner circle of the Twilight Princess disc for some text.
If it says:
[JP] RVL-RZDP-0A-0 JPN - use rzdp0.bin
[EU/AU] RVL-RZDJ-0A-0 JPN - use rzdj0.bin
[NA 1] RVL-RZDE-0A-0 JPN - use rzde0.bin
[NA 2] RVL-RZDE-0A-0 USA - use rzde0.bin
[NA 3] RVL-RZDE-0A-2 USA - use rzde2.bin
*Note: If you own an American version of Twilight Princess, there are 3 versions, be careful when reading the inner circle text of Twilight Princess*
3) Now, on your SD Card, in the root, make a folder called private, inside private make a folder called wii, inside wii make a folder called title, and inside title make a folder called RZDx (Replace the x with J [JP], P [EU/AU], or E [NA]).
4) Drag and drop the .bin file you will be using into the RZDx folder and rename it to "data.bin" [without quotations].
*Note: You are done with puting the hacked save file onto your SD Card, if you want to just know how to put the save onto your Wii and start the hack, skip to step 7 [The next step is not necessary, but is useful for having more than one emulator/homebrew on your SD Card]*
5) Download this (Fake Homebrew Channel) [240.91 KB]: http://sharebee.com/b289de62
6) Inside the "Fake Homebrew Channel" folder is the boot.elf, homebrew folder, and readme, copy all over the ROOT of the SD Card. Read the readme(s) for use of the homebrew channel and what to do. Or, put any homebrew in the homebrew folder with an appropiate name that applies. After doing so, You have finished making the SD Card, but this is not finished yet.
7) Onto the Wii, If you haven't, insert the Twilight Princess disc and the SD Card. Now go into Wii Options --> Data Management --> Save Data --> Wii. Find your Zelda save if you have one, and erase it [REMEMBER, BE SURE TO BACK IT UP IF YOU WISH TO KEEP IT].
8) Start Twilight Princess, load your save, and then walk backwards or talk to the man in front of you, a bunch of code will appear and then your homebrew will start. That is all.
