Hey guys,

I was wondering what memory stick I should get. I already have a 2GB sony mem stick, but that's not enough for my movies and games.

The problem is that the .iso movies I download are already 1.6 gigs and my games aren't under 200mb. (the mem stick only has 1.85 even though it says 2 gb)

I heard how the 4GB hdd was too slow. I don't want something that's slow. My mem stick is already slow when it transfers the movies and games.

For example, the new Prince of Persia game is already 1.5 gb of space. I'm not sure how to downsize this game or rip it.

Can anyone give any suggestions if the Sandisk 2GB stick is transfers any faster or should I just buy another Sony 2GB? Thanks for any help.

Sandisk is faster than sony. PoP is not 1.5gb, its like 800mb full. Also don't have a iso movie just download the movie in mp4 its smaller. Plus don't get the 4gb is you have a 1.5 psp cause then it is sooo slow. It already transfers like 5x as long with 2.0

get the scandisk it is the fastes and the cheapest if you get a 1 gb

my persia game is only 600mb why dont you try to be more selective of the torrents you d/l?

i have a 1gb and am very happy with it. i just need more space ><!

4 Gbs work fine now and are actually pretty reasonable in comparison to other smaller memory sticks.

i would have to agree i would rather get 2 fast and cheap( 25.00 usd) amazon) sandisk memory card then 1 slow 4 gig 1

iv got a sony 4 gig, if the performance i get from it is slow its not slow enuff to warrant switching brands... i got mine for 70 bucks at frys.... really is an exztra minute that bad when moving content around??

Yes of course one Minute can mean the world man..........for James Bond! I have two 2GB high speed sony memory stick right now and I would rather have two 2GB's rather than one 4GB because what if the 4 GB one crashes. If one of the 2GB memory sticks crash or break in half or freeze up or mess up you have one more chance at another 2GB memory Stick!

id like 4 gb but i can only afford 2 gb, i guess 2 gb is fine depending on your budget

well i have 4 gig right now
and it works just fine i don't know how it compares to 2 gig speedwise since i didn't had 2 gig
but i think it works pretty decent
if you are going to keep on downloading movies and games i think you should just save up money for the 8 gig
cuz after i put in 1 movie it spent about 1 gig of my space so i just saved the file on my computer instead of having the file on my psp since i don't really have time to watch the whole thing outside
unless i'm taking long trips or somethin...

4gb is good if u have a 2.0 usb port and cable then it goes quite fast!!! the scandisk 1

i thnk you shuold get a 4gb. it may be a bit slower, but it has way more space. Space would beat speed anyday!!!

anyway just get a 4 gig twice the space of a 2 gig and you dont have to keep switching mem sticks

The 8GB is the best choice.

8GB sounds nice and imagine with such capacity of space, we can have more iso's, movies, mp3, homebrews, psx's, emulators...(phew) by the way, it's too expensive for the moment (it's about the price of a brand new PSP). Not sure the 8Gig card have any prob with the PSP as I believe firmwares do have some issue with the size of the memory card. Anyone own one or any feedback regarding the 8Giga card?

anything where the transfere rate is high because it gets annoying from waiting all the time for files to be copy or moved
