Hi, please help me broaden my mind on the PSP and answer these questions peacefully. (sorry for bad english)

1. Whenever I put a software ( like snes emulator or umd emulator), there is another choice named (corrupted data). I guess it's in the folder that has % on it. (e.g. UMDEMULATOR%). Could I erase that folder??

2. My firmware is 2.00 but when I put a UMD on it, there is a "PSP Update version 2.00" with it. I don't know how my dad did it but could you tell me what is the problem with this??

3. I don't have access to the internet (WiFi), i mean there's no choice/button concerning WiFI ( the "world" icon). How do you get it??

4. Is it possible to check the files on the UMD?? then turn it into an ISO?? coz' the loading is too slow and it hangs sometimes.

5. Is there any other way to play games other than the UMDEMULATOR?? My dad gave me a cd with four games but the one has no .iso on it. Just the folders GAME, PSP, and MEMSTICK.ind, MSTK_PRO.ind, and UMD_Data.bin

1. Use a program called Seipsp tool, it removes it by renaming the folders.

2. There is no problem, or any way to get rid of it, just try and ignore it. Nothing is wrong or unusual with this.

3. This is the internet browser. You can not use this inless you have wireless internet where you are. You can use it at places like Starbucks with free internet though. Because you don't have wireless internet in your house you can also not play infra-structure (online) psp games.

4. Check the files? Like deleting some before copying over? No, just wait until its done. Just download a ISO from site and save the hassle.

5. He gave you a cd? He BOUGHT games through ebay?! Whatever...UMD Eualtyor isn't a game, it is a homebrew appliction that allows you to play games. Other umd emaultors are: UMD Emulator 0.8, Fastloader 0.7, Devhook. THere are also other homebrew things like a Dance Dance Revalution emaultor. Too many questions geez just research the rest.

Another Questions for my everyday needs, I tried the search button but the results are not that complete. I need more specific informations. So here goes... I hope "Septic Tank" will notice this for he is the only active guy i have seen in this forums...

1. Septic Tank said in the recent reply that " You can not use this inless you have wireless internet where you are." Will the network button automatically appear if you go to a WiFi hot spot(like Starbucks)?

2. How do people make emulators(GBA, SMS, GBC)?? I want to know how they make it because I think my intelligence could provide help.. lol

3. You could buy games at Ebay?? ISO formatted?? the cd that my dad gave me are not from ebay, the seller gave my dad the cd, said that it is free.. lol

4. Does the PSP only accept MP4 video files?? Is there such thing as .WMV/.MOV/.AVI - MP4 converter??

5. Any suggestions on where to download .iso formatted files?? I'm too scared to download on P2P file sharing networks because of the viruses that are included on the download...

Oh and another question, could you change the background of your PSP at the main menu?? Coz' it would be better to have something else than the boring orange color and wavy effects on my PSP.. Thanks again.,...

To change your background use a program called pspersonalize. If you have firmware 2.00 then select a picture and press triangle and go to set as wallpaper.
When you upgrade to 2.00 the world icon should always be there.
Use pspvideo9 to convert movies to mp4
It is against the rules to ask for iso's.

I have this SeiPSP tool and I am too scared to click those things that is hard to understand. Where and how would you hide those corrupted icons using the SeiPSP??

no the world icon only appears in 2.00 and higher.
If you want to find an easy tool to hide those corrupt icons you can use PSPsicko portable.
Edit: There is no world icon in anything lower than 2.00 since there is no web browser.
