hi iv been into psps for a while now i actueally i had one of the 1st ones out

but im not here to talk about that
il admit it im a cheapskate but being cheap has its benefits
heres an idea iv been throwing around for a bit

i think some people have encountered this product
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/c...tedPhoneId=3304

what iv gathered is you have to run proprietary verizon software to use it on a laptop thats fairly easy but it wouldnt work on say a psp
well since sony finally got around to putting skype on psp in thinking why not take advantage of it

i have seen usb keyboards used with psp and iv found attachments that convert usb to mini usb in thinking that could work

now the hard part would be makign it connect to the verison network from a psp probably have to code a bit

once thats done you could run it connect than using ir shell use skype

bam you got a phone anywhere u got verizon service and it runs on your psp plus the network service is cheaper than cell service

what do you guys think any comments or suggestions?

The link doesn't work for me so I'm not sure if I completely understand what you are saying.

But a definite pitfall I can see is getting the PSP to communicate with that device via USB. If I remember correctly, I read something about the PSP not being able to act as a USB 'host' so I'm not sure if that part will work.
