OK, so i've just got my new 8gb msd. First thing i do is put it in the psp (as you would) and format the stick through there. I let the psp charge for a while then i come back and try to put some games on it (as you would) but the thing doesnt even show up in 'My Computer'! I can see that the device has connected because the usb hub icon thing at the bottom of the bar shows that the msd has been connected and it reads the psp driver, but it still wont show in 'My Computer'.

Running 3.80 m33-4 cfw. The thing is, the msd shows up on the psp but not on my PC.

Any ideas?

Connect to another usb port maybe?

Or there could be a problem with your usb drivers. Go to Contol Panel, System, Hardware tab, Device manager and look under portable devices. See if you have any large yellow exclaimation marks next to any of the listed tabs and then search for available software updates. This could be it.

Or, if you have anything else plugged into your other usb ports, unplug them, restart computer, and try again.

Hope that helps.

Might be a long shot, but with the PSP attached and in USB mode, check the Windows Disk Manager (Right click "My Computer", choose "Manage", choose "Disk Management"). See if it shows up in there, if it does, it may not have a drive letter assigned. Disk Management will let you assign it one.

If it shows up, but doesn't have a drive letter:
Right click the 8gb partition and choose "Assign Drive Letter", choose any available letter you'd like, click OK.
The PSP should now be available as that drive letter.

If it doesn't show up in Disk Management, I don't really know.
