Looking at recent stuff from Microsoft's failures i'm seriously thinking about switching to a PS3. You can basically do some stuff and more plus the online gaming is free. Plus, you can still use themes, have something like a gamertag and I can pair it with my PSP. And most of my fav. games are for PS3 as well (i'm getting kind of bored with Halo and GoW isn't coming out for a long time.) So if I experience problems with my 360 Elite i'l ltry to get a new one but if not hello PS3. If I do this which one should I get? Any suggestions?

My suggestion is PS3 all the way. Sure it costs a lot more, but it's well worth having a console that you can expect to work. I, personally wouldn't tolerate having to send back what I've spent so much on. Online play is also free for the PS3 which I think is a big plus.

lol The only thing is Gears of war 2. I have been waiting for that game FOREVER. If Gears wasn't a 360 exclusive I would have sold all my 360 stuff and gotten their PS3 counterparts by now.

You could always get a PC version, there is one isn't there?

Yeah, so maybe i'll get Gears of war 2 when it comes to PC. But for now i'll stick with 360, but one mess up with Microshit and bye bye. >.>

If I could suggest some games, if you're a big online player then, Unreal Tournament 3 is your game, not to mention you can mod in the game (yes this is legal), and do really cool things like make the game Third person instead of first, or install maps or other various thins. Some other games I suggest (NOTE: Some of these are not out), Resistance: FoM, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, MGS 4, Haze, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Tekken 6, Warhawk, Final Fantasy XIII, and XIII versus, and atm that's all I can think of for exclusives. xD sorry don't carry a list around with me at all times.

Oh for sure. I played UT3 on PC and its sweet. I also know Hevaenly Sword is good, but I heard Resistance:FoM was disappointing but I might try it out.

I thought it was awesome it was also rated pretty well on most review sites. But you can't expect it to be incredible, it is only a launch title.

Well, I may rent it to see if its good first but I never leave my decision to just reviews.

I do, but I also study up on the game first, I also check multiple review sites, to get the overall average of the game ect. However I do agree that a reviewer can't tell you'd everything you'd learn first hand. I.E Bullet Witch a lot of people hated it but I love that game whole heartedly.

The release of God of War 3 for PS3 is also a factor.

IDK I liked Heavenly Sword way more than God of War. But I'll probably get GoW 3 because I've played and beat everyone, well 'cept the PSP one, that I've only played the demo disc.

I'll probably try getting both.

SOCOM!!!!! Even if this game isnt for you it sure is a reason for many people to own a ps3 soon. The socom series is what started the ps2 online gaming and made it what it is today.

Oh and of course other games coming like Warhawk, MGS, Killzone, FF, LBP, GTA, etc...

Don't forget Metal gear solid 4 an tekken 6 are going to be on the PS3
