I have just downgraded a mates PSP to 1.5 and installed the UMD emulator 0.8c.
All works fine but when he puts a game in (not sure which one) it wants to upgraded to 2.0 firmware.
Is there a way round this?

Yeah. Upgrade to 2.0, play the game and downgrade to 1.5 when you want to use it.

yea u could do that but is there a risk of bricking ur psp doing that....?????
well if u just play the iso's there's nothing u can do but if u play the homebrew games u should upgrade to 2.00 and use an eboot loader
other than that u should just keep upgrading and downgrading (i know its a hassel)
