'Gu Lou Dong Da Jie' would be the best place to buy, you can take the subway, get off at 'Gu Lou' station, then go south, turn left(east) at a big intersection then walk east for about 200m+, there are lots of video game stores on the south side of the street.

I just bought mine there about a week ago, price ranges from RMB$1550 to RMB$1750 depending on weather you want to buy the value pack or the standard, I also bought a 2GB MS Duo(a fake Sony stick, the real one would cost over two grand), works just fine. They also copy games for you for free when you buy PSP. Also XBox360's about RMB$3000, quite cheap as well.

if by any chance you go to shenwhen u can get psps and every other electronic item imaginable for really good prices.

you go to the Seg market..the chinese ppl pronuounce it Sai-gué or somthing...i dunno but its an awesome market...like 50 skycrapers full of electronic goods.

while vacationing there (August 2005) i got my psp value pack for 170€ with a free pc cable and games for 35€ each...

its a good deal...plus u can get mem sticks for 1/2 the price of ones sold in Europe. ANd ther not fake...there original mem sticks.

they copy games/home brew apps into Memory Sticks when you buy PSP for free. I donno if they'll charge later or not.

I didn't go back for the games since i downloaded everything else myself. Only gonna go back there for repairs n stuffs.
