Does anyone know if it is possible to play PS2 ISOs on the PSP? Since there are OE firmwares available maybe or hopefully possible to run.

NOPE PS2 games do not run on the psp only PSX games...

Theres no way the psp can emulate ps2 games, I mean even a computer will struggle on any graphics card that has less then 256MB memory.

Ps2 Games are way to much memory for a PSP and its takes too much space on hte meeory stick if that are any game that are ever converted or able to be play on the PSP. Although it sounds Awesome!!

better wait for a psp2!!! LOL

dought it, ps2 games are more advanced and you would need a really big memory stick to run them i dont see it any time soon. but it could happen who knows.

PS2's screen resolution is too big for PSP to play...

Not sure but if Sony work on this in order to phase the PS2 out..... think about it, they are starting to withdraw support for the PS2 and are working on integrating the PSP and the PS3 even more, I think this could be a possibility.................BUT and it's a big one, only on a new PSP2 I don't think either PSP Phat or Slim have the hardware capability as far as RAM is concerned, they've shown the difficulties they have in getting the PS3 backwards compatible across the range, fingers crossed though

I hope this is possible one day because I have a lot of PS2 games an I would like to transfer them to my PSP

i want to play my ps2 game on psp but the memory need to be solve first. hopefully it ican be possible in the future

I don't think the psp could read the ps2 iso's

Sony has been milking on Ps2 sales for the past 7 years. I doubt they would provide any other support for the newer consoles. I mean, they even removed the possibility to play PS2 on PS3.

So, in the future, either get a PS2 ( if you don't already have one ) and keep it.

I think this Sony Network will expend even further toward downloadable PS2 games on the PS3. Meaning you'd have to pay for the games all over again.

It would be cool if it was possible tho
