Have you tried it without the memory stick?

After putting CFW, you need to start the PSP into recovery mode. To do so, make sure your psp is completely off. That means no battery, no plug. Then, put your good battery in and plug in the AC adapter to make sure power will not be cut off.

Then do the following:

1. Hold R down and turn the psp on.

2. Continue to hold until the recovery menu appears.

3. Go to Advanced on the menu.

4. Format flash1 to restore the settings.

5. PSP will reboot. If not, back out to the main menu and choose exit.

Try downgrading it back to 1.50 through the recovery and see how that goes.
