Full Version: upgrade 3.40 oe-a to 3.71 M33?

Hi, I'm new to PSP. I've updated the PSP to 3.40 OE-A but find some games don't work (Smackdown vs Raw).
Will upgrading to 3.71 M33 fix this problem and can I go directly to 3.71 M33?
Any help would be appreciated.

Upgrading to 3.71 M33(-4) should solve the problem, yes.

i use 3.9m33 with no problems

well new games now a day needs at least 3.71m33 to play them (God of War, NFS: Prostreet, And other upcoming games). I update to 3.71m33-4 and its pretty stable, why do you try it? (You dont have to if you dont want to)

Trust me I'm like you. I was on 3.40 OE-A for the longest time than upgraded to 3.52 M33. But I have no complaints with M33 3.71-2. Everything works. The only reason (i've said this before) I upgrade is when an iso or cso doesn't work. Everything works for the M33 3.71-2.
