1st off id like to say thank you NyghtcrawleR for this file. (HotFuzz DVD Rip)

now my problem is that the video doesnt seem to show up on my psp.

Ive added it to the MP_ROOT/100MNV101 Folder and it didnt show up.
So I deleted that folder and file and then created and added it to folder MP_ROOT/100MNV01 and it still didnt show up.
So I deleted that folder and file and then created the /VIDEO folder on the Memory Stick and added it to that and still not showing up.
Ive even heard read about creating a folder called 100ANV01?
Please note I did this with the original file name of MAQ10002.MP4 and then I tried it after renaming the file to M4V10002.MP4

Ive had problems w/ adding files before and I usually end up deleting and trying other files untill I find something that works but my problem is becoming very consistant and I am now very confused. sad.gif

What type of folder am I supposed to create?
Can I have a /VIDEO folder and the MP_ROOT/100MNV01 folders exist at the same time?
Does it matter if the files are low quality of high quality?
Does it matter If I caps the file when renaming (ex.m4v00001.mp4, M4V00001.mp4, m4v00001.MP4, M4V00001.MP4)
Does it matter what time of Firmware to use?
Am I asking too many stupid questions????

Ive looked all over the net and still havnt been able to fully understand this process. I hope one of you can break this down for me.

So many questions sorry everybody

p.s.
excuse me if I didnt post this thread to the proper section.

If your video is mp4, you just need to connect psp to pc using a usb cable, go to psp select usb code. then open the memory stick on pc, you will see lots of files, make a new folder called "VIDEO" on "MP_ROOT" then copy your MP4 file to this folder, that's all
But if your video isn't mp4, you must convert them first, I advise you to use aimersoft psp video converter, it can easily convert video to psp with quite fast conversion speed and excellent output quality, really nice tool for me, you can free download it here:
http://www.aimersoft.com/psp-video-converter.html
and it builds in psp video manager which can help transfer video to psp directly, you don't need to rename the video files manually, that's very convenient
BLAZINFAST
put the video folder in the root of ur memory stick
